Mary Avina: A Pool Player Extraordinaire

Mary Avina: A Pool Player Extraordinaire

It does not matter how much someone puts Mary down, she never gave up her fight. Long were the days when she could not afford to go and practice every other day…most of it on 10 x 5 snooker tables. Mary doesn’t ever want to stop improving. She knows that was only the beginning.

Mary Avina is a regular member player of the Southern California Women’s Tour. She owns a few 10 x 5 wooden pool and billiards tables which she uses to improve her game.

At age 21, she started playing pool by herself. For some pool players, they would start at an earlier age, but for Mary, she didn’t care, she just wanted to play pool and be the best. She’s a regular member player of the Southern California Women’s Tour. She owns a few 10 x 5 wooden pool and billiards tables which she uses to improve her game. She can play every kind of game on them. She also has some exotic tricks at home. And folks, check this out—she’s got some trick shots of her own. Mary Avina’s idols and favorite pool players include Jeanette Lee, Allison Fisher, and of course, Efren Reyes whom she met (shockingly!) the same year at her favorite pool hall in Bellflower, CA.

Her favorite pool hall is “Hard Times Billiards”, the pool hall of the champions.
