Is it a plane? Is it a bird? No, it’s “Super Aimee”. Whatever it is, just don’t mess with anything Super! Aimee’s real last name is “Super”. How and why? I don’t have any single idea… but who cares? Aimee started playing pool at the age of 19. She learned the basics in pool from her dad. As super as she may be, she has shown kindness to her fellow pool players to offer them tips to enhance their game.

Manuel Herrera, Mary Avina, Sid & Laurie Butera, and Steve Choy have all given their best to excel and do better. Aimee did it!
It was in 2003 when she joined the APA (American Pool Players Association). She said she was able to improve her skills and gain league experience especially with the help of her League operators Phil & Taz Brooker. Aimee plays pool at least 4 days a week with 8-Ball and 9-Ball games. She has been to Las Vegas numerous times and brought home titles and trophies for her team and individual honors.
A lot of people have encouraged her to play pool and one of them is Buddy Salinas, who saw a potential in her to become and play like the women professionals. With all the support extended to her by her boyfriend, Manuel Herrera, Aimee is slowly but surely making her name noticed in every Southern California billiard event.
She has joined Hard Times Billiards’ tournaments held at Bellflower, California where she played against top-notch players like Melissa Morris, Jeanette Lee, Kim White, and others. She also participated at Stix Billiards Sports Bar & Grille, took the 4th spot behind Melissa Morris, Kim White, and Eleanor Callado. Not bad for a first-timer!
