Two great pool trick shot artists Florian “VENOM” Kohler and the word renowned Mike “The Tennessee Tarzan Massey, did very successful pool trick shot exhibitions in California. Mike Massey is an experienced nine time shot new wave of internet trained trick shot practitioners is Florian “VENOM” Kohler. Each man brought his own brand of joy to the pool aficionado. While the shows were in separate venues, they were still tied together by the well known camaraderie of being trick shot artist. The ever cheerful Mike Massey is a mentor to Venom, a relatively newcomer to trick shots world. Mike Massey has not only mentored him but also coached Florian for trick shot competitions. Mike even went to France to visit and coach the young Frenchman.
The shows were such a success with the use of fun props. particularly of the blond wig which was use to turn any male volunteer into a fair maiden
Florian “VENOM” Kohler did an American Tour which included four California Locations, drawing nearly 200 people in each of these exhibitions. His show has the enthusiasm of the young as he is barely over the legal age for a drink. His shows has been televised and his future is bright. His YouTube channel is a favorite among trick shot enthusiasts. His recent performance on Trick Shot Magic shows that he is not just an online commodity, but on live TV as well.
The shows were such a success with the use of fun props. particularly of the blond wig which was use to turn any male volunteer into a fair maiden. This one of Venom’s signature live show touches. The touch also serves to mock the fact that he rarely has a beautiful Blond model to jump over, to masse around and so on like in the DVD, oh yes he has a DVD. The trick shot DVD is named VENOM TRICKSHOTS by Runout Media. It introduces Florian VENOM Kohler, the Internet sensation that is redefining the sport through his creativity and innovation. Prepare yourself for more than 160 of the most advanced shots ever performed on a pool table. Quintuplet masse shots, a 24 foot two-rail jump shot. doubles play, mini-table action, and a beautiful assistant are only a few of the incredible displays that make VENOM TRICKSHOTS one of the best trick shot collections ever assembled. So if this sounds good.
The always great Mike Massey. also known as “Tennessee Tarzan”. His Shows, with the benefit of years of experience, are well polished works. One can see his show many times over and never feel like you have seen it too many times. His supreme showmanship was there on display at Shooters of Riverside California and last Sunday at Danny K’s in Orange, just like always. He worked his trick shot magic and made many of the spectators part of the show. We were also delighted to see a joint trick shot with Californian Mary Avina. There was talk of more of those in the future, of course.
“He is here to stay and he will only get better. Mike Massey tells us. We were delighted to see some joint trick shot of them in the post. This is a two man trick shot bonanza. So folks here we are straight from the horse’s mouth “lots of fun with awesome people, three TV appearances, including a live show, a new trophy, big career opportunity with other awesome people and to finish one of my best show ever in a place packed! I just love the USA” said Venom. While we welcome the Frenchman to our home anytime, let’s hope this becomes an annual event, which would likely include many other colorful trick shot artists, both new and old.
Mike not only delighted us with the trick shot classics we have come to expect from him but also with his finger pool and topped it off with signature jump into his boot shot. Massey’s show, like always, was a big hit and he has many more to go, before he heads back home. Mike was ever so gracious. taking the time to sign the fans many books, photos, and cues and to pose with fans for photos. He was cheerful and ever ready for more exhibitions, so don’t miss him next time! Special thanks go out to Vickie Wade and the APA for organizing and sponsorship of this charity event.
Mike was not only one of the very first people to encourage Mary to pursue trick shots, but also one of Mary’s mentors. Mike Massey encourages all the talented newcomers to go for it.
